The Adventures Have Started

And I haven't even left Texas.

The weekend began with a visit to my grandparents so they could see me one last time before I venture off into the great beyond. My Mammaw cooked me a fabulous Thanksgiving-esque meal with stuffing, cranberries, and sweet potatoes. I wanted to pack the leftovers...but that probably would have put my luggage over the weight limit.

And now I'm blogging from Mindy's house where we are in pre-departure mode. And my credit card company should be commended for their level of security with my account. But it really isn't super when I can't even access my account.
