We've Arrived!
Mindy and I have safely made our way to London - we're staying in a fabulous hostel and just finished eating our sandwich dinner from Marks & Spencer on the steps of St. Paul. Unfortunately it costs 50p for 7 minutes of internet time - so I'll have to keep this super short. We definitely had quite a few adventures on our way here. Toronto's airport was really confusing trying to go through at night, but we made it - no thanks to grumpy customs officers.
London's airport was a breeze, everyone was nice and we got crisps from Boots on our way out. Real salt and vinegar crisps...amazing. Mindy's BBQ crisps weren't quite as impressive - they tasted like the beef ramen seasoning.
Okay - one minute left... I guess I'll leave you with that we are safe and sound - our luggage is safe and sound here with us - and we got it all to fit in the hostel locker. More to come later!

Whew, my stomach acids are sloshing a little slower. I cataloged USB microscopes and headphone adaptors, did stick puppet show "Cow That Fell Into the Ditch" over and over, checked out and shelved books in between checking the Blog for any news of you two. I will call your grandmother to put her at ease. We are happy for your safe arrival, and I am so envious. Now, go get a job girl! Love, Mom
woo for london! you HAVE to go to the british museum, victoria and albert museum, and kensington high street for shopping. i'm only stopping at three because otherwise this would be longer than your entry. i'm glad you arrived safely and i hope you have a blast!! :) -katie
